Day 1: Arrival in Chongqing

Travel by long-distance transport to Chongqing—a city with enchanting landscapes and vibrant energy, hailed as the captivating gateway to Western China. Upon arrival, a private transfer will escort you to your hotel. After check-in, you may enjoy free time at your leisure.

Day 2: Explore Filming Locations & Watch Impression Wulong Performance

Natural Three Bridges→Fairy Mountain→Impression Wulong

After breakfast, depart for Wulong (approx. 3.5-hour drive), followed by a specialty Hakka Hundred-Families Banquet for lunch. After that, you will start to explore the tourist attraction, Three Natural Bridges. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it reigns as Chongqing’s iconic destination. Its dramatic landscape has starred in blockbusters like Curse of the Golden Blade and Transformers, alongside the variety shows. The site mesmerizes visitors with its triple-bridge cluster—Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong Bridges—forming a “Three Bridges Framing Two Sinkholes” geological marvel. Recognized as Asia’s largest natural bridge group, it showcases karst topography, canyons, and waterfalls, paired with Tujia ethnic cultural displays, thus it draws millions of visitors all over the world each year.

After that, you will be arranged to discover Fairy Mountain, acclaimed as the "Oriental Switzerland" and "Southern China’s Premier Pastoral Realm". Its "four wonders"—primeval forests, karst peaks, pastures, and snowfields to create poetic scenery year-round, earning it the title "Eden Descended to Earth".

Day 3: Taste Miao Three-course Tea & Appreciate Tujia Minority Folk Show

Route: Ayi River→Wujiang Gallery→Gongtan Ancient Town→Intangible Cultural Heritage Folk Show of Tujia Minority 

Morning: Ayi River & Miao Culture

After hotel breakfast, you will experience the Miao Three-Course Tea Ceremony along Ayi River, its name derives from "Jiao'ayi" (meaning kind/beautiful Miao women). Wander through karst canyons where emerald waters flow past sculpted cliffs to convey people the sense of happiness and satisfaction.

Three-Course Tea Symbolism: The First Course (Cold-Dispelling Tea) means parents’ blessing for children’s safe growth, the Second Course (Sweet Tea) symbolizes carefree childhood nurtured by family and the Third Course (Bitter Tea) represents adulthood’s challenges and self-reliance.

Lunch features Wujiang Ecological Fish—a locally sourced specialty, which is highly praised for the rich and spicy flavors creating an incredibly satisfying experience for the taste buds.

Afternoon: Wujiang Gallery

Evening: Gongtan Ancient Town & Heritage Show

As you stroll through the ancient town, you'll find the stone-paved streets so polished that they mirror shadows of people, ancient heritage buildings are unique in style, the quadrangle dwellings are very simple, elegant and serene, and Tujia stilt houses vary in form. It is a well-preserved and substantial Ming-Qing architectural complex in China, thus hailed as "a marvel of architecture" by many experts and scholars.

The dinner is Wild Mushroom Chicken Banquet accompanied by the Tujia Intangible Heritage Show. At the historic Western Shaanxi Guild Hall, you can appreciate the performances of Youyang Folk Songs, Ancient Youyang Chants as well as Thrilling Mask Yang Opera and Fire-Walking Rituals etc.

Day 4: Experience Miao Ethnic Group Culture & Hongyadong Views

Route: Chiyou Jiuli City→Light Rail Piercing Through Building→ Jiefangbei (Liberation Monument)→Hongya Cave→Qiansimen Bridge

After breakfast, visit Chiyou Jiuli City, which is a cultural icon for celebrating the Miao ancestor Chiyou. This heritage site preserves Miao history and customs, featuring:

Jiuli Divine Pillar: World’s tallest Miao totem pole with intricate carvings.

Jiuli Palace: Largest stilted wooden complex globally.

Nine-Gateway Archway: Uniquely designed multi-arched entrance.

In the afternoon, you will be expected to visit the urban wonders, such as Light Rail Piercing Through Building in Liziba Station, Liberation Monument and the stunning views in Hongyadong. Among these, the Liziba Train-through-Building is to capture the iconic scene where light rail traverses an 8th-floor apartment, hailed internationally as "Futuristic Urban Poetry". The Liberation Monument is to explore Chongqing’s first pedestrian street, anchored by the victory memorial—a permanent symbol of civic pride, while the Hongyadong is dubbed the real-life "Spirited Away-inspired wonderland" for its night illumination when you wander through stilt-house cluster.
