Routes: Zhazi Cave - Ciqikou Ancient Town - Light Rail Passing Through Building - Happy Valley Theme Park
Zhazi Cave (渣滓洞): Nestled in the secluded hills of Geleshan near Ciqikou, this hidden valley surrounded by mountains served as a secret prison by Kuomintang forces from 1938. Countless heroic tales unfolded within its walls where revolutionaries were detained and persecuted during China’s revolutionary struggle.
Ciqikou Ancient Town (磁器口): A millennium-old Wharf Ancient town along the Jialing River. Its 1.5km bluestone street preserves Ming-Qing dynasty stilt houses and gathers intangible heritage like Sichuan opera face-changing and Chen’s crispy hemp twists – earning its title as "Old Chongqing in Miniature".

Chongqing Noodles (重庆小面): As the city’s iconic culinary soul, it is a spicy-numb málà broth layered with complex seasonings and affordable prices. To taste this dish is to taste "The Spirit of Chongqing" itself.

Light Rail Piercing Building (轻轨穿楼): An engineering marvel at Liziba Station (Line 2), where monorails seamlessly cut through a residential-commercial complex. This landmark epitomizes Chongqing’s "8D Phantom City" topography through ingenious mountain-adaptive design.
Happy Valley Theme Park (乐和乐都): Chongqing's premier eco-tourism destination – upgraded from the former "Chongqing Wildlife World". As western China’s largest integrated resort, it blends wildlife encounters, thrill rides, science education, and cultural performances into an "One Park, Multiple Realms" immersive ecosystem.

Rongchang Yellow Pea Jelly (荣昌黄凉粉) : As the soul of Rongchang’s culinary heritage, it is a century-old delicacy crafted from local golden peas and Laixi River water. Its amber glow and tangy-spicy profile embody the philosophy "small ingredients, masterful artistry" in Ba-Yu gastronomy. Now it is a must-try when you are in Rongchang.
Wanling Ancient Town (万灵古镇): A 700-year-old Ming-Qing gem where "mountains, waters, and architecture unite in cosmic harmony". Dubbed "Western Chongqing’s Wuzhen" and "Immigrant Waterscape", this convergence of Ba-Yu antiquity and Jiangnan charm offers breathtaking natural poetry.
